BH Library Changes we are improving access to high-quality evidence.  We are now providing Lippincott, WK & Ovid instead of Ebsco products.  Is change will provide our nurses and allied health professionals with more robust collections.  We continue to provide access to Medline but instead of using Ebsco to the search the Medline Index, Ovid Medline will be our gateway however you can continue to access Medline through PubMed.  We are now providing Ovid Journals instead of Ebsco Journals, links to request articles or access article look different but they should funtion the same.  If you find any problems please let us know.

What we gain from moving to Ovid, will be Ovid Emcare which provides access to 3,500 scholarly, peer-reviewed and indexed journals with a strong focus on nursing and allied health journals.  We also gain access to highly development Embase subject term tree structure. Ovid Emcare and Embase will replace Ebsco's CINAHL.

We continue to provide access to all our resources, through the single search box, OneSearch.  However, user will now be able to see results from UpToDate, Ovid Emcare, Lippincott Solutions along side the search results in OneSearch.  Looking for a specific book or journal, or a specific citation.  The new OneSearch has it all right there.

Other content that has been added include

  • Ovid Clinical Edge Journals
  • Nursing collection
  • Lexicomp
  • Clinical drug information
  • Includes patient education
  • Calculators
