Introducing - The Research Rundown from Banner Health Library Services!

We library workers are positioned to improve access to knowledge-based information in support of our strategic mission. You might be surprised to know that the work we do is a reflection of the work you do.

While you're out on the front lines providing direct patient care, library staff are working behind-the-scenes. Even though we don't have a front-row view, we do have a backstage pass. When healthcare workers request our information-retrieval expertise, we get a glimpse into the clinical questions that matter to you. Those questions are vital to many aspects of patient care.

In an effort to foster information-sharing and contribute to a "Spirit of Inquiry", Banner Health Library Services is excited to debut the Research Rundown, a quarterly spotlight on trending clinical topics with broad appeal.

Drumroll, please! Let's take a look at our first-ever Research Rundown spotlight, a snapshot view of topics identified by our very own Banner Health Library Services staff.

Trending Topics for the Months of December 2021 - February 2022:

  • Emergency Nursing & Occupational Stress/Burnout
  • Nurses & Work Engagement
  • Paralytics & Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS)
