CINAHL and Medline look different! What changed, Ebsco?

If you noticed that your favorite database has a new look and feel, that's because Ebsco has updated their user interface. While the appearance has changed and you may be missing the familiar blue and green design that has been characteristic of Ebsco for so long, the functionality and the content is the same. 

Please have a look at the screenshots below for a quick look at some of the changes you can expect.

The Basics

1. Your search terms go here
2. View filtering options
3. View search options, i.e. search any/all terms, Boolean operators, etc
4. Browse publications indexed within the CINAHL Ultimate database
5. Browse CINAHL Headings

Additional filtering options of note

• Evidence-Based Care Sheets are now accessible under the "Publication Type" filter
• Articles that provide CEUs are also accessible under the "Publication Type" filter
• The Clinical Queries search feature allows you to quickly apply predefined filters to your search! (Therapy, Prognosis, Review, Etiology)
• The "All Groups" filter allows you to target your search by age
